Girotel forces me to use insecure IE6

For business and personal banking I use the Postbank's Girotel online. I use Firefox because IE6 is a crappy browser that nobody should use (especially for secure banking stuff). But I keep getting a '3701 java error' both in Firefox 1.0pr and Opera 7.54. When I try to login with Opera I get the following warning:
The Opera Java classes does not have enough permissions to execute.
Either the opera.policy file could not be found, or the policy file does not grant permissions to the opera.jar file. Java applets will not work.
Now I'm forced to use the notoriously insecure IE6. Hmm, I wonder what permissions IE6 does grant....

If it is a consolidation, mijnPostbank.nl works perfectly with Moz 1.7.

Thanks! Maybe I should try those. I'm also considering the good old pen and paper version. :)

That's an option too. :D

mijnPostbank.nl also works in every version of Firefox at least since 0.8. Maybe you have to install Java 1.4 or 1.5?

I'm running 1.5. Maybe I'll need to switch to mijnPostbank.nl.
