Permantly switching to Gmail

In my continuing quest to simplify my life I've switched from Yahoo to Gmail. Yahoo does not have Gmail's speed. Writing an e-mail with Yahoo seemed to be too frustratingly slow, especialy with quick replies to short mails.

I have used Yahoo for personal mails and Thunderbird for business mails. Having an extra account to keep track off would be too much. I already had a Gmail account but didn't want to switch because I thought I couldn't have a Personal Address (@deheus.net) with Gmail. But since I own the domain I can easily forward e-mails.

The problem with some of these simplifying solutions is that they can take more time than the time you are suppose to save.
