Installing everything in your home folder

A tip from my brother: move all your files to your home directory.
This way you can just copy/backup your home folder and be certain it contains all your files and settings.

So I've moved my local servers which I kept in /usr/local/ and /Library/WebServer/ to my home directory.
On my development server I installed Subversion in the home directory as well. This way I don't have to change my backup scripts.
